About

Community Shield Scotland

TRUTH · COMMUNITY · POWER

My street is the local desk of the three-site family. A free desk for every Scottish ward. See what your council spends. Do one thing on your street this week.

Not a party. Not official. Not a government website. We are a civic record from public papers. We do not stand candidates and we do not keep your file.

Who operates this desk

Community Shield Scotland is a civic record run by Chris Hindle (Edinburgh). It is not a council, not Audit Scotland, not the Scottish Government.

What we are

The two doors

Two free sites from this desk. Pots are not mixed. My street is wards and local papers. Government is national bodies. Asylum people, payments and hotels are not on this desk. We do not mix those pots here.

Corrections

A council, a group, or a resident can ask for a fix if a figure or name is wrong. We change the page when a public paper supports the change. We do not take a figure down because someone dislikes it. How to ask.

Completeness

INVESTIGATIVE = a Glasgow-class desk (Glasgow FOI NR/8621789 stays on hold). ENHANCED = a dated sitting and/or a ward-named £. BASELINE = every sitting none-held and every pot NOT PRINTED. A thin badge is a thin desk, not a thin place.

This is not a gold-complete map of Scotland. Badges live on each council door. Compare 32 councils.

How we label a figure

A card says what kind of statement it is. We do not add guilt language. A qualification or overspend is not a criminal proof.

What we are not

We do not invent national asylum headcounts, a full hotel list, or a Scotland-wide public-body directory. Those pots are not on My street. Glasgow FOI is on hold (NR/8621789) — do not send a new GCC request until that review is decided.
