How this works
Three things. Then you hold the file.
Find your ward with a postcode.
You do not need a ward code. If lookup fails, pick your council. Search also finds councils, wards, crime, FOI, and action.
See this week — a meeting, a letter, or a group that already meets.
If we do not have a dated sitting, we say so. We do not invent a Thursday. Join before invent.
Keep a sheet on your phone. We do not keep a copy.
Put it in Files, Drive, or email it to yourself. Export CSV from Vault or the council comparison when you need a table.
Method, in one page
- Sources are named on each card — Audit Scotland, NRS, Police Scotland, DWP, council papers.
- Missing ≠ zero. An em dash means unpublished or not yet linked.
- Crime figures are management information, not a court verdict. City-centre wards run hot.
- Child poverty uses official CiLIF statistics. After-housing-cost and before-housing-cost are labelled.
- City money stays on the council desk. Ward money is only a pot named on paper for that ward.
- Glasgow FOI: s.14(1) hold NR/8621789 as at 6 Aug 2026. Do not send a new GCC FOI.
