Community Shield Scotland is a civic record run by Chris Hindle (Edinburgh). It is not a council, not Audit Scotland, not the Scottish Government.
Postcode lookup
Find-my-ward sends the postcode from your browser to postcodes.io, to find a ward. It is not stored as a campaign file. It is not sold. This device may remember the last postcode in session storage until you close the tab.
Your notebook
The ward notebook and FOI ticks live in this browser only (local storage). CSS does not receive a copy. Use Clear on the notebook page to delete it here. Download a text file if you want your own record. We do not start storing sheets to “make privacy easier.”
Analytics
CSS does not run Google Analytics, Plausible, or a similar product. No analytics cookies.
Server / access logs
This site is hosted on Grok. The host may keep ordinary web-server access logs (time, path, IP address). CSS does not run a separate log warehouse and does not keep a campaign case file.
Ask for deletion
For anything CSS itself stores — which is not your campaign notebook — write to [email protected]. Close the tab to drop the session postcode. Clear the notebook on that ward’s page to drop the browser copy. We cannot promise the host erases access logs on demand; we will say so honestly if we cannot.
