Corrections
Ask for a fix
A council, a group, or a resident can ask if a figure or a name is wrong. We print the source we used. A challenge should point at a public paper. You keep your own copy. CSS does not open a case file.
What we will change
- A wrong figure, once the printed paper shows a different number.
- A wrong name (council, ward, body, or paper title).
- A dead official URL.
- An unpublished paper that is now published — we will print it, not invent it.
What we will not change
- A dislike of a printed Audit Scotland number.
- A request to invent a ward budget from a city total.
- A request to mix My street, Government, and Asylum pots.
- A request to take a figure down because someone dislikes it.
How to write
Send a short note to [email protected]. Include the page URL, the public paper (title, date, page), the printed figure, and what CSS currently shows. That is a mailto: — not an account, and not a stored campaign notebook.
We change the page when a public paper supports the change.
